    Re: Pvt. James C. McCormicK
According to a book written and published in 1886, History of the 104th Regiment OVI, p. 113, Pvt McCormick was in Company C.
he was wounded in the Battle of Old Town Creek, North Carolina on February 20, 1865.
This book was written by my great grandfather, Nelson A. Pinney, of Company D. It was published by Werner and Lohmann, Akron, Ohio. I don’t know if this is new information for you, but I hope it’s helpful.
