Jerome Grable, 104th Ohio Infantry, fought at Franklin

I believe my 2nd great grand uncle Jerome Grable fought at the Battle of Franklin.

Full Name:  Jerome J. Grable

Rank/Unit:  Private 104th Ohio Volunteer Infantry

Info.  I have no direct documentation of his participation in the Battle of Franklin.

I do know that he mustered in with the 104h OVI in Massillon, OH on 8 Aug 1862, and mustered out at Greensboro NC on 17 Jun 1865 where one of his last assignments was that of mail carrier.

Given that he was with the unit from the beginning to the end, it would be logical to assume he participated in the Battle of Franklin.

He survived the war and married.  He died in 1870.

Relation.  GG grand uncle on my father’s side.
