Robert M. Kelley, Company H, 1st MS Infantry

My great grandfather was Robert M. Kelly (also spelled Kelley) enlisted 17 April 1862 in Corinth, MS by Capt. Prestidge; Company H Lafayette Farmers; discharged 26 April 1865; wounded 22 July 1863 in left hand; appears on register of 1st MS C.S.A.

Hospital in Jackson, MS on 5 April 1864 for one day.  Wounded on 13 August 1864 and sent to hospital.  Under Captain Formby; Commander Featherston.  Died 20 February 1903 of pneumonia and buried at Indian Springs cemetery.
