Joseph Cyrus Means, 6th Mississippi, Lowry Rifles

I recently learned that I am a descendent of someone that served in the 6th Mississippi, Lowry Rifles. That would be my a Joseph Cyrus Means.

I know that he surrendered at Citronelle AL. @ the end of the war.

  1. Cherita Means Swanson says:

Ed, Joseph Cyrus Means is my great-great-great grandfather. Curious how you and I are related. My brother has done much research and just told me tonight that he served in the Lowry Rifles Infantry during the Civil War.
