Sgt. William John Martin, 26th Alabama Infantry

My great grandfather, Sgt. William John Martin, 26th Alabama, fought at the Battle of Nashville/Franklin. He was captured, but escaped.

    Thanks for the info. His father was Capt. John Martin who is my great, great grandfather and they are buried together at Olive cemetery in Clay county, Al.
