Wiley Paul Mangrum, Company H, 20th Tennessee Infantry

He was a farmer from town of Jingo which is what Fairview was first named.  Married to a Hutcherson lady whose brother was in Co H too.  He, Alfred Hutcherson, lost an arm at Chickamauga.

At Franklin?
He is listed as missing in his service records but family lore says he went home.  Had not been home in almost 3 years and was too close to not go I reckon.  My grandfather said he helped bury soldiers Dec 1 and simply went home.

He is buried in Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview.

I have a couple of post war images of him with his large family where he is holding my dearly departed grandfather as a child.
